On Tuesday, February 27, Juniors and Seniors at Xenia High School participated in a panel on career opportunities at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, hosted by Congressman Mike Turner and Mayor Sarah Mays.

Congressman Turner was introduced by Junior Houda Loukssi, and then spoke to students about the future career opportunities at WPAFB.

Students learned about career opportunities at all levels as they listened to representatives from:

  • Civilian Personnel Leadership Team
  • 88th Security Forces Squadron
  • 88th Force Support Squadron
  • 88th Civil Engineer Group
  • 88th Operations Support Squadron
  • Non-Appropriated Funds HR Office
  • Air Force Life Cycle Management Center
  • Air Force Research Lab (AFRL)
Students also learned about opportunities available to them this year through the Pathways Summer Internship Program.
