On Monday, March 4, Warner Middle School Leadership Students began their annual Penny Drive for the fight against leukemia and lymphoma -- and this year they have set a goal to raise $4,000!
In addition to collecting pennies at lunchtime, throughout the month of March, the students will be hosting a range of activities that will give their fellow student some fun opportunities to support the fundraiser:
- Thursday, March 7 - 3 Point Shoot Out at Lunch ($1)
- Friday, March 8 - Air Pod Day ($3)
- Tuesday, March 12 & Thursday, March 14 - St. Patrick's Day Sucker Sale at Lunch (to be delivered on Friday during Flex)
- Wednesday, March 13 - Kona Ice Sale at Lunch
- Friday, March 15 - After-School Dodgeball Tournament, 2:15-4:00 p.m. ($2 entry ticket)
- Tuesday, March 19 - Hat Day ($0.50)
- Friday, March 22 - Air Pod Day ($3)
The grade level lunch collection boxes will be in the cafeteria with Student Leadership members from Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 22.
As an added incentive, we are hosting grade level and classroom competitions!
- The Grade Level that raises the most money will get an ice cream reward during 4th quarter.
- The Classroom that raises the most money will earn a pizza party during the 4th quarter.
