Calling All Aspiring 5th Grade Musicians!
On Wednesday, March 20, Warner Middle School Band will be hosting an "Instrument Try-It Night" for all current 5th grade students who are interested in middle school band.
The event will take place at Xenia High School from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. During this fun night of music exploration, these incoming 6th graders will get the chance to try all available instruments to see what might be the best fit for each of individual.
Guest clinicians will help students explore in the gymnasium, while parents attend an information meeting in the cafeteria to go over options and what to expect once their child has joined the band.
Remember that student may not be dropped off for this event! A parent/guardian or adult family member should plan to attend and stay for the information session. Families should plan to park in the student lot in front of XHS and enter through the far left athletic entrance.
