A Walk to Remember: Warner Families Celebrate a Year of Innovation

On Tuesday, May 12, families joined us at Warner Middle School for our annual Gallery Walk, with nearly 130 in attendance. The evening showcased the incredible hard work, creativity, and dedication our students (and teachers!) have poured into their projects all year long.
The inspiration started right at the front door, as parents were invited to drop a sticky note on our whiteboard sharing a school project they still remember doing. It was a beautiful reminder of how hands-on learning sticks with us — in some cases, for decades!
Once inside, families were treated to a variety of interactive, student-led displays spanning every grade level:
- 6th Grade: Visitors peeked into innovative, engineering-marvel tornado-proof houses.
- 7th Grade: Guests grabbed a "passport" to explore the diverse countries and cultures our students researched this year.
- 8th Grade: History came alive through creative, "time-travel" historical journals.
The creativity didn't stop there! The hallways were packed with balloon-powered cars, miniature roller coasters, 3D maps, and imaginative rock cycle storybooks. The entire evening was set to the soundtrack of our own talented students, as recordings of our recent Band Concert played on the big screen, providing the perfect, upbeat background music for our guests.
💡 Did You Know?
This year, Warner expanded its horizons by offering brand-new Entrepreneurship and Spanish classes! Families got a firsthand look at the skills our students have been developing.
Thank you to all the families who came out to support our students, and a massive shout-out to our hardworking staff for organizing such a memorable night. It’s clear that the projects built at Warner this year will be remembered by our students for decades to come!
