Get ready to let your hair down, Xenia High School… The 2026 Homecoming theme is "Tangled Up!"

This week, members of our middle and high school community came together to take an active role in supporting the well-being of our students!

The Warner Middle School cross-country team recently kicked off their season in style with a trip to Runners Plus in Centerville!

On Friday, August 28, XHS opened its doors during first period for a special "Senior Breakfast" that invited the Class of 2027 to start their final year of high school on a high note.

The hallways of Xenia Preschool were filled with big smiles, bright eyes, and plenty of excitement as we officially kicked off the new school year for our Preschool students on Tuesday!

On Friday, August 21, more than 90 XHS seniors gathered in the early morning hours to watch the sun rise on their final school year! 

Xenia Community Schools announced the 2026 Educator of the Year and Staff Person of the Year at the back-to-school Convocation on Monday, August 24.

The start of a new school year brings excitement, preparation, and — for many of our students — a very early alarm clock. So began our look into the drama behind the 6:00 AM alarm!

Xenia Community Schools is proud to announce the hiring of Josh Newport as the new Principal of Tecumseh Elementary School, a long-time Xenia resident and dedicated educational leader.

This week, we hosted Gear Up, a school supplies event — and thanks to this amazing community, 407 XCS students are heading into the new school year confident, prepared, and ready to learn!

This summer, we are staying connected all summer to keep kids learning, bring families together, and ensure every student steps into the classroom with confidence.

School may be closed for the summer, but ProgressBook remains open and acts as an important resource for XCS families.

The Xenia High School Theater won 23 Miami Valley High School Theater Awards for their outstanding work on "One Stoplight Town" and the musical "Wonderland" this year!
