A New Chapter in Care: Celebrating Our Future Health Professionals

On March 17, our high school’s aspiring medical professionals from the Class of 2026 took a step forward at a White Coat Ceremony hosted by HOSA. This event serves as a rite of passage, helping students transition from their high school pathway to their studies in college and/or through technical training.
While the white coat is a professional uniform, for these students, it symbolizes the professionalism needed to commit to high standards of ethics and integrity, the trust needed to connect with future patients, and the perseverance to complete the rigorous hours of study and practice yet to come.
During the ceremony, students heard from guest speaker Mrs. Carolyn Jackson from the Wright State University Nursing program. For the program, students were recognized by their teachers, receiving their personalized white coats. This was followed by a collective recitation of a student-led HOSA oath and pledge.
Congratulations to our honorees!
