Freshmen Get Off to Good Start for 2025
Our new 9th grade students had a good start to their high school career this week — thanks in part to their freshmen orientation last Friday, when Xenia High School proudly welcomed the Class of 2029! As students arrived, they were met with cheers from enthusiastic student mentors and student council members, creating an exciting and supportive atmosphere.
The event kicked off with a class meeting in the auditorium, where school administrators greeted students and shared important information about the year ahead. Freshmen then participated in team-building activities and toured the building through a fun, interactive scavenger hunt that helped them become familiar with key areas of the school.
Students also had the chance to meet staff, walk through their class schedules, and learn about daily procedures. The afternoon ended on a sweet note with an ice cream social in the cafeteria, featuring a Buccaneer themed photo booth for students to capture memories with new friends.
