XHS Grad Receives Prestigious American FFA Degree

Nathan Norris, a 2025 graduate of Xenia High School, was awarded the American FFA Degree on Saturday, October 24. The American FFA Degree is the highest honor bestowed by the National FFA Organization, achieved by fewer than 1% of FFA members nationwide.
This year, only 5,816 members out of 1,053,847 national members earned this designation, with 580 recipients representing the state of Ohio.
To earn the American FFA Degree, members must meet rigorous academic, leadership, and service requirements. Candidates must have previously earned their State FFA Degree, demonstrated dedication to their local FFA chapter, completed a minimum of 50 hours of community service, and successfully managed a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program, earning at least $10,000 through their SAE initiative.
"Earning the American FFA Degree requires exceptional dedication, perseverance, and passion for agricultural education," said Jacob Wuebben, Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor. "Nathan's accomplishment reflects years of hard work and serves as an outstanding example of leadership for our community and future FFA members."
