NHS Hits the Ground Running: 350+ Summer Service Hours

Members of the Xenia High School National Honor Society spent time over summer break giving back, logging over 350 hours of community service across Xenia! Led by the NHS Executive Board, committees hit the ground running with impactful local service learning opportunities
- Scholarship Committee: Timed events for the local swim team at Pinecrest.
- Service & Executive Committees: Volunteered at The Helping Hands Food Pantry.
- Advertising Committee: Worked at Bridges of Hope.
- Leadership & Character Committees: Helped with parking at the Greene County Fair.
It was a fulfilling summer for all members and they look forward to continuing their service throughout the rest of the year!

Juniors and Seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are invited to apply, and NHS is hosting an informational meeting for potential candidates on Wednesday, September 30 in the auditorium during advisory.
