The Final Countdown: Senior Week 2026

As the school year winds down, it's time to celebrate the Class of 2026! This week offers a packed schedule of traditions and celebrations as we head toward the finish line.
Show Your Pride: Senior Yard Signs
Have you spotted the new decor around town? Senior Yard Signs have been distributed to all graduating seniors! A huge shout-out to senior Carlee Hawes, who designed this year’s signs. Make sure to display yours proudly as we continue to celebrate your hard work and achievement.
Senior Sunset
On Wednesday, XHS hosted Senior Sunset, a sentimental evening for the senior class to gather at dusk to watch the sun go down, reflecting on their shared memories and saying their final goodbyes to high school life.
The Final Bell!
We hope our grads take it all in today, as Thursday, May 14 is the official last day of school for seniors (only!)
Head Down Memory Lane
After graduation rehearsal next Tuesday morning, it will be time to head down memory lane. Seniors will have the chance to travel back to where it all began with visits to their former elementary schools. This new annual tradition has quickly become a favorite for seniors and our elementary students and teachers, too!
Graduation
Of course, the big moment will take place on Wednesday, May 20! Commencement begins at 7:00 p.m. at the WSU Nutter Center. For those who cannot attend in person, the event livestream will be available online.
The list of Candidates for Graduation is posted on the same page, so be sure to check for any familiar names. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
