When Ms. Peterson issued a school-wide attendance challenge for the month of April, our students at Cox Elementary rose to the occasion. Maintaining the momentum gained after Spring Break, our students demonstrated a clear commitment by being in school on time, every day. 

• The Target: 93% Attendance
• The Achievement: 93.9% Attendance
• The Celebration: A fun outdoor popsicle treat and dance party

To celebrate achieving this benchmark, students were treated to an afternoon of celebration on the playground this past Tuesday. The event served as a reward for their hard work and a way to foster school spirit.

We would like to extend a special thank you to SRO Margioras, who provided the music and high energy that made the afternoon special. Between the music and the frozen treats, the afternoon was a hit! Congratulations to all our students and families for reaching their goal and prioritizing their time in the classroom.
