Elementary Teams Prepare for Takeoff at the 2nd Annual Drone Delivery Challenge

Our elementary school teams are gearing up to put their skills to the test at the Second Annual Drone Delivery Challenge on Saturday, May 2 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at Benner Field House.
This exciting event features 14 teams and 55 student participants representing all five of our elementary schools! Admission is free and open to the public.
During the competition, which is designed to help students sharpen their technical abilities while learning the value of collaboration, teams will tackle three core challenges:
- Precision Coding: Programming flight paths to navigate complex obstacle courses, execute technical maneuvers, and land safely in designated zones.
- Strategic Planning: Designing the most efficient delivery routes to race against the clock and maximize their delivery count.
- Effective Teamwork: Communicating and collaborating to solve problems under pressure.
Join us in supporting these budding programmers and future logistics experts as they turn teamwork into real-world action. Come cheer them on as they reach new heights!
