Wild About Learning: 3rd Grade Animal Research Projects at McKinley

Mr. Becker's 3rd grade explorers have been hard at work on their latest project... animal research!
For the project, each student dove deep into the animal kingdom, selecting a specific creature to study. Their mission? To become experts on their animal’s unique characteristics, natural habitats, and most surprising "fun facts."
Of course, the classroom truly came to life as students used their creativity to illustrate their findings. From mighty elephants and sleek sharks to clever foxes, cuddly pandas and woolly lambs, the variety was incredible! We even saw stealthy snakes and furry polar bears represented in their impressive displays.
These young researchers showed dedication to accuracy — and fun! — throughout the process as they built their research skills and proudly shared their discoveries with the rest of the students at McKinley through a hallway habitat display.
