8th Grade Percussionist Represents Warner at WSU Honor Band

On February 13 and 14, 8th grader Caleb Reedy represented Xenia Community Schools at the Wright State Middle School Honor Band.
Caleb, a standout percussionist, was selected from a pool of over 250 student nominations across the Dayton area. For this event, he joined a 75-member ensemble representing 190 schools across Ohio.
Over the two-day event, students participated in intensive rehearsals and masterclasses, gaining unique opportunities to work with professional musicians to hone their technique, connect with other young musicians, and perform under expert leadership. Ultimately, the students rehearsed and performed four challenging selections under the baton of guest conductor Ryan Griffin, Director of Bands at Stivers School for the Arts.
We are incredibly proud of Caleb for his dedication to his craft and for representing our band program with such excellence on this regional stage!
