The newest class of OHSAA certified officials is now ready for action! These high school students represent one of the newest course offerings at Xenia High School: Sports Officiating. 

The class is designed to get more officials on the courts, fields, and mats, while teaching students life skills. Not only do the students have to learn the rules and mechanics of their sports, but they also learn scheduling, budgeting, communication, and conflict management. 

The course is a semester offering, and each student has the opportunity to become certified in two different OHSAA sports. Students will be able to officiate youth and middle school games as soon as they complete certification — helping ensure that all of our teams can play their complete schedule!
