From June 16-20, 52 students in grades 3 to 5 participated in our first-ever XCS STEM Camp, which culminated in a showcase of student projects for their impressed family members and friends! Throughout the week, these budding engineers and programmers took on challenges and got hands-on as they completed their individual projects. Half of the students coded their very own video game, while the other half of students created 3D printed models and laser-cut projects.

On-hand at the Friday showcase were representatives from the Air & Space Forces Association, Yvonne Vermillion and Carl Shofner, along with Pete Eide from Lockheed Martin. They presented a check to Tim Carey, our Elementary STEM Coach, to support ongoing STEM education at Xenia Schools!
