Shawnee Goes All Out for Annual Walk-a-Thon Event

On Friday, September 22, Shawnee students headed off for their annual decked-out trek to Shawnee Park to raise funds through the school's PTO. Teams of superheroes, scientists, characters from our favorite books — and even some zoo animals! — made their way out of their classrooms to get some fresh air and exercise as they publicly thanked the friends, family members, and local businesses who sponsored them for this year's walk-a-thon.
