  • VETERANS DAY ANNOUNCEMENT

Yesterday was Veterans Day and also the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI.  Veterans Day is the day we remember the service of all those in the US armed services.   Veterans Day was first called Armistice Day and celebrated the end of the “Great War” the “War to End All Wars” that we now call WWI.

When a woman or man joins the armed services in the US, be it war time or not, they make a sacrifice to protect all of us and our freedoms.  Please recognize the gift that Veterans give to us by telling them thank you.If you have Veteran in your life like your parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents, or brothers and sisters make sure they know you appreciate their dedication.  When you encounter a Veteran it is appropriate to say “Thank you for your service.”Next time you see a man or woman in a Veteran cap or in their car with a Veteran’s bumper sticker, pay it forward by buying their Coca Cola.
