Mock Crash at XHS

Mock Crash Program for Junior Class at XHS

On the morning of Wednesday, April 26, Juniors at XHS participated in a mock crash program, the first such program since COVID. The program consisted of multiple parts, including an in-person demonstration in the bus lot, with presentations before and after the mock crash. 

The goal of any mock crash event is to reduce crashes, injuries and deaths for young drivers by using visuals to demonstrate real-life consequences. They are also designed to encourage important traffic safety related dialogue between parents and teens, so be sure to ask your student about the experience!
