The following letter was sent from Dr. Lofton to XCS Families on Sunday, December 10:
Dear Xenia Families,
Like many of you, we are aware of the threats of violence made toward more than 100 school districts across Ohio today, including several neighboring districts in Montgomery and Greene Counties.
I want to assure our families that we have not received any such similar threat.
As always, the safety of our students and staff is our primary priority, and we will continue to be diligent with security procedures in our schools. If additional information becomes available, we will communicate that to you directly.
