Fall Blood Drive

HOSA Students Meet Fall Drive Goal
Posted on 10/30/2023
On Tuesday, October 24, Xenia High School students in HOSA, the student organization for future health professionals, hosted their fall blood drive. With a total of 52 successful donations collected, the students met their goal of collecting at least 50 units of blood — saving upwards of 208 lives!

Students worked with advisor Molly Wavra to plan the event, helping recruit donors and ensuring there were plenty of snacks to help participants refuel afterward by flipping pancakes and serving up fresh fruit, juice, and other options before students and teachers headed back to class.
