Students and families will be asked to commit to at least one semester when signing up for the Online Edge. Students will only be able to switch between the Online Edge and in-person school at the semester. Requests to change to in-person learning mid-semester will not be accepted. This is in the student’s best interest and allows the district to transition students with staff assistance at the semester mark. This also allows the district to staff and budget according to enrollment.

Students in grades 6-8 will be enrolled in: ELA, math, social studies, and science.

Students in grades 9-12 will be enrolled in the same classes they would take in an in-person environment. Courses will be offered through Edgenuity ONLY if they are offered in-person at XHS.

Students may take Advanced Placement and Foreign Language; however, tutoring at the times above is available for assistance in: ELA, math, science, and social studies only. If students who are taking Advanced Placement or foreign languages need assistance, XCS will do their best to provide in-district tutoring
