Class of 2021

Class of 2021: Commencement
Posted on 04/19/2021
A graduation ceremony is a time-honored rite of passage, and the district will have an in-person event this year on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

While it is, by necessity, a different event than has been held in the past, we are thrilled to be able to plan a ceremony for the Class of 2021! The planning committee is working hard to plan a celebration within the guidelines provided by the State of Ohio

Graduating Seniors will receive a total of five (5) tickets: one (1) for the student, plus four (4) for family and friends.

Tickets are required for all guests 3+ and they must have their own seat. If a child is 2 or younger, they do not require a ticket, but must sit on someone's lap.

Each student's guests must plan to sit together. Accessible seating will be available, but will
not  be on the floor this year.

Remember that everyone on site must wear masks at all times. Only the speaker at the podium will be permitted to remove their mask.

The day of the ceremony, the WSU Nutter Center doors will open at 6:00 p.m. on the main concourse, and all guests over the age of 2 must have a ticket.

Students should use their ticket to enter Gate 9, and plan to arrive by 6:00 as well.

Students and their families should expect some traffic delays on site, and plan accordingly. Allow plenty of time to get onto the site and parked, so that students can enter the building on time!

For those who cannot attend in person, a live stream of the event will be available online through WSU Nutter Center.
