At its first regular meeting of 2023, the Xenia Board of Education approved a resolution to place a renewal for our income tax levy back on the ballot this May.
This operating levy provides critical funding to support day-to-day learning in our classrooms, contributing more than $4.5 million to the district’s annual budget.
Because the ballot measure failed by just a single vote in November 2022, the Board made the decision at the January 4 meeting to put the issue back to voters for consideration.
