From January - April, Health Partners of Western Ohio will once again provide optional school-based dental services for Xenia students. As a reminder, services are only provided with the consent of parent/guardian, and are available for any student PreK-12.
Forms were sent home with families in the fall, but are also available to print here. To help with scheduling, consent forms should be returned by Friday, January 21.
During a dental exam, the dentist will clean your child’s teeth and check for cavities and gum disease. They may also provide fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral health instructions to help children care for their teeth. VIEW the information sheet for more detail.
Note that the date for the dentist's visit to your child's school could change, based on the number of students who choose to participate in the program at each previous location. However, the planned schedule is as follows:
- January 31 - February 4 - Shawnee Elementary
- February 7-11 - Tecumseh Elementary
- February 14-17 - McKinley Elementary
- February 22-25 - Cox Elementary
- March 14-18 - Arrowood Elementary
- May 2-6 - Warner Middle School
- April 19-22 - Xenia High School
- April 20-22 - Xenia Preschool
