The matches were postponed due to weather on Sunday, but have been rescheduled for Monday, November 15.

---

Our XHS students are once again collecting items for the annual Baskets for Battle project to support patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment at local hospitals.

But did you also know that there are more ways that our students — and community! — can support the project than simply bringing items in to donate?

First, this weekend our Student Council is hosting two fall Powderpuff games at Doug Adams Stadium on Monday, November 15 (rescheduled date). Tickets are $5 per person, and may be purchased at the gate. A freshman vs. sophomores match will take place at 5:00 p.m., with the juniors taking on seniors at 6:00 p.m. The event is rain or shine, so attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather! All proceeds support the project.

In addition, for a donation to the fundraiser, XHS students can get a minor pass on dress code for two specific days! For $1 each day, high school students can wear hats/hoodies on Friday, November 12, and wear their PJs to school on Friday, November 19. Students should note that they must have a stamp showing that they are eligible to participate, and that all other rules about dress still apply.
