Xenia Preschool held its annual Farm Day, where our youngest learners got hands-on as they learned about farm animals by petting sheep and rabbits, learned how to milk a pretend "cow" – and bottle-fed a real 7-day-old calf!

Students learned about where their food comes from with OSU Extension Master Gardener volunteers, sheared pretend sheep covered in shaving cream, and learned about planting seeds. They also got to play in a corn sensory table, rake hay, and feed pretend pigs. 

The day was coordinated with our Xenia High School FFA teacher, Mr. Wuebben, and his students who volunteered throughout the day to run these fun learning stations.
