WMS Fundraiser for CureDuchenne

WMS Students Raise Funds to Support Classmates
Posted on 01/21/2022
In support of three classmates with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, the Warner Middle School WEB Leadership students recently raised $800 to donate to CureDuchenne. Funds were raised by selling WMS spirit wear of t-shirts and hoodies over a two-week period.

Eighth grade WEB Leadership students encouraged everyone to get involved by making announcements and presenting slide shows to educate the student body about Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. As part of the project, they interviewed brothers Tyrese Buford and Ethan Clelland about their condition. The students named the brothers, along with Landen Sparks, our Warner Middle School heroes.
