Brayden Brittingham is the 8th grade Team Trailblazers Kid of Character selection based on his actions, effort and leadership the first three weeks of school and his past year’s effort getting to this point. He demonstrated hard work in the classroom, being a great teammate on multiple Warner athletic teams, and being a great classmate. Demarco’s hard work and resilience highlight his character and potential, demonstrating that success is not solely defined by grades but by the effort and attitude one brings to their endeavors. On behalf of Team Pioneers, we are grateful to be able to recognize Demarco Ruffin as our chosen Kid of Character for the month of September!
Xenia High School: William West
William has been a library aide for four years and cheerfully tackles any task given to him. A notable example of his dedication is when he helped box up 15,000 books this spring for the library renovation, and it’s clear he’ll be just as eager to assist with putting them back on the new shelves. He handles all typical library duties—checking books in and out, re-shelving, and processing new books—while maintaining perfect attendance and high grades in his CCP classes. When not occupied with schoolwork, he volunteers for additional tasks, such as assembling chairs and tables for the staff, even during his summer break. His commitment and positive attitude are contagious and very much appreciated. William truly deserves to be named a XHS Kid of Character; we need more people like him in the world.
