Real Money, Real World at Warner

On Tuesday, May 14, Eighth graders at Warner participated in a Real World, Real Money simulation where they learned about how their life choices could affect their future in tangible ways!

For the simulation, students chose a career and made expense choices based on their salary and size of family. They then visited booths where they deducted their spending, including groceries, childcare, housing and insurance to name a few.

The students gained incredibly valuable insights into the realities of managing money, making tough financial decisions, and understanding the importance of planning for the future. The simulation helped students grasp these essential life skills. This experience wouldn't have been possible without The Ohio State University Extension office and volunteers from our community.
