Ohio University Community Concert at XHS

The renowned Ohio University Jazz Ensemble I will be performing a free community concert at Xenia High School on Wednesday, February 23 at 7:00 p.m. The concert is taking place in the recently renovated Bob Hope Auditorium. Under the direction of Mr. Greg Sell, the XHS Big Band will open the evening with a short performance.
Ohio University Jazz Ensemble I is directed by Dr. Matt James and is comprised of both undergrad and graduate students. The ensemble performs concerts on and off campus, along with tours that provide the students with a variety of performance opportunities. The band routinely performs with guest artists to include Bill Watrous, Jerry Niewood, Urbie Green, Jeff Tyzik, Chris Vadala, and Jamie Aebersold.
This concert is being presented by the Xenia High School Band Boosters.
