Mark Your Calendar for the Start of the Second Semester

As we look ahead to the second semester, including the opportunity to welcome students heading back to class in the NEW Warner Middle School, here are a few reminders about the schedule for early January:

  • Monday, January 6: Teachers Return (No School for Students)
  • Tuesday, January 7: Students in PreK-5 and 9-12 will return to class on January 7, as scheduled.
  • Wednesday, January 8: Sneak Peek for WMS Families ONLY. Look for your invitation, including times and any other instructions, coming from Mr. Holop.
  • Thursday, January 9 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.: Our entire community is invited for this LAST CHANCE to walk the halls of the OLD Warner Middle School. Note that there will not be tours or additional activities scheduled for this date, and that access will be limited to the first floor.
  • Saturday, January 11: Ribbon Cutting Event at 11:00 a.m. inside the new Warner.
  • Saturday, January 11: Community Open House from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the new Warner.
Warner Middle School ONLY Schedule:
Monday, January 13: Warner Middle School Students Return to Class


A Few Notes for WMS Families About Drop-Off/Pick-Up: 
Beginning January 13, the student drop-off location will change! Please note that the main entrance of the new building is not yet accessible, and students will use a temporary entrance on the east side of the new building, located just past the end of the current main parking area. (see map below)

Cars should proceed past the old drop-off area to the new drop-off zone past the old building and staff parking area. Drivers can then exit the area via Arrowhead Trail or Pawnee (past Arrowood). Upon exiting from the car, students will follow the marked pathway to the temporary entrance on the east side of the new building, located near the health center.

The main bus drop-off area will be on the west side of the new building, continuing to use the access road behind the old building. 

♿ Accessible parking and limited visitor parking is also available using the bus drop off route. Family members who need to enter the building may choose to park in the front lot and walk to the temporary student entrance.
