Greene County Public Library After School Tutoring Program

Is your student looking for some extra help with classwork outside of school? The Greene County Public Library in Xenia is now offering after-school tutoring from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday and Thursday for the current school year!

Services are open to all students K-12, and no advance registration is necessary. Families can drop in for help during the open hours on Wednesday and Thursday at the Xenia location; other locations and times are available throughout Greene County.

There is some overlap with the GCPL after-school snack program days and times. Snack are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Xenia, but families can find that complete schedule and snack menu here.

GCPL branches currently offer tutoring as follows. Be sure to check with the library branch for updates and additional information:

  • Beavercreek Community Library — Thursdays 3:30-6:30 p.m. and Saturdays 12:00-3:00 p.m.
  • Cedarville Community Library — Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:00-4:00 p.m. (Elementary Office at Cedar Cliff Local Schools), Saturdays 1:00-4:00 p.m. (Cedarville Community Library)
  • Fairborn Community Library — Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Jamestown Community Library — Wednesdays 3:00-6:00 p.m. and Thursdays 4:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Winters-Bellbrook Community Library — Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • Xenia Community Library — Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Yellow Springs Community Library — Mondays 3:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
