This
open letter from our First Student transportation partners is to update families on efforts to navigate the challenges of this school year. As families are undoubtedly aware, there is shortage of bus drivers in districts across the state, and First Student is currently hiring and training drivers to meet our need locally.
You can read more about this in the letter, and we ask that you share the information about increased wages and training support with anyone you know who might be interested in work as a school bus driver. It takes a special personality to be a bus driver, and we appreciate the hard work of the drivers who are showing up every day and making sure that students get to and from school safely!
