Coach Maurice Harden Named DII Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Coach Maurice Harden, who was honored by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association as its 2022 Southwest District Coach of the Year in Division II. Well-deserved!
Thirteen of our XHS Buccaneers players were also selected by the OPSA:
▪️ First team: Gabe Funk, Trei’Shaun Sanders, Gunnar Stephan and Tremell Wright on offense, and Ronnie Butler and Jamell Smith for defense.
▪️ Second-team: Kaleb Martin and Gavin McManus on offense and Jaxen Lewis and Trent Smith on defense.
▪️ Honorable Mentions: Trimonde Henry, Trenton Lee and Jackson Tate.
