To allow for orientation for students coming into new buildings, as well as screening appointments for our Kindergarten students, the fall schedule will once again offer a staggered start. The 2023-2024 open house and official start days for each building, by grade, can be found below. Note that once your student has their "first day", they will attend all subsequent days unless otherwise noted. (e.g. Kindergarten)
XCS Staggered Start Schedule for 2023-2024:
- Thursday, August 17: First Day of School - Grades 1-6, 9
- Friday, August 18: First Day of School - Grades 7-8, 10-12 (all students in grades 1-12 attend)
- August 17-21 (Thursday-Monday): Kindergarten Screenings in Elementary Buildings, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Learn more.
- Monday, August 21: First Day of School for Preschool
- Tuesday, August 22: First Day of School for Kindergarten (last names A-K ONLY)
- Wednesday, August 23: First Day of School for Kindergarten (last names L-Z ONLY)
- Thursday, August 24: All Kindergarten students attend (full class)
