Molly Prindle

Grade 2
(937) 372-6461 ext. 4123

Hello.  My name is Molly Prindle.  I am a long time resident of Xenia.  I attended Xenia City Schools as a student from kindergarten through 12th grade.  I attended Wright State University for 2 years then transferred to Eastern Kentucky University, where I earned my bachelor's degree.  I later earned my master's degree from Wright State University.  This is my 32nd year teaching in Xenia Community Schools.  I started my teaching career in 2nd grade where I stayed for 12 years.  With the birth of our first daughter, we decided that working part time was the best for our family.  Over the next 10 years I taught Proficiency Intervention, 4th grade Language Arts and Social Studies as well as 1st grade Language Arts.  When our youngest entered kindergarten, it was time to step back into working full time.  Since that time I've been back in 2nd grade, right where I started!

I started dreaming of becoming a teacher when I was in the third grade.  My teacher at that time, Mrs. Wellar, had a huge impact on my life.  Her contagious laugh made learning fun.  My desire to be a teacher continued to grow stronger over the years.  What a blessing it is to live out my dream!

I have a wonderful husband and three lovely children. My oldest is attending Wright State University pursing a degree in education. My middle child is a senior at Xenia High School and my youngest is a freshman at Xenia High School.

I believe all children can learn. It is my goal to create a classroom atmosphere where everyone feels safe to learn and grow, a place where it is okay to make mistakes and learn together.

Communication between home and school is important to me. Working together we can better help your child reach his/her full potential.

Learning is an exciting adventure!
